Welcome to the CHAMPS online policy database. Here you will find state policy examples that align with the six policy priorities of the CHAMPS campaign. This policy database includes policy examples featured in the second edition of the CHAMPS policy playbook, examples from state diligent recruitment plans and other sources. The primary goal of CHAMPS is drive improvements to foster parenting policies. In support of this goal, we provide a range of tools to encourage and assist policymakers in championing reforms to strengthen foster parenting in their communities. It's our hope that this database is a useful tool to child welfare agency staff, state and federal legislators, foster family associations, youth advocates and others.
